Compact & lightweight

The all new F8 now feature the smart and compact top cowling design found on larger Yamaha models. The redesign of the F8 features an ergonomic, shortened tiller handle that hinges to fold close to the cowling for stable, flexible storage. Handling and storage is easier too. The new slim shape, together with the redesigned tiller handle (which now folds in much further) means it takes up less space. There’s also a more comfortable carry-handle - and new resting pads that allow the engine to be stored rear-side down.

For a portable outboard to be great it needs to be compact, lightweight and powerful. With the F9.9 Yamaha has delivered beyond expectation.

The high-thrust T9.9 has been specifically designed to provide the extra grunt when you need to move big loads such as sailboats and heavy pontoons. Utilising a dual-thrust design the T9.9 produces twice the thrust of comparable two-strokes within the 2,000 to 3,000 RPM range, while delivering Yamaha’s the legendary reliability, durability, and efficiency that Yamaha Outboards are renown for.

No matter the size or horsepower, Yamaha outboards are built around reliability and innovation. The Yamaha F15 is no exception. The F15 produces excellent low down torque from a lightweight powerhead.

The F20 is almost the same size as the Yamaha two-stroke model with corresponding output power. A front shift and a bigger throttle grip make engine operation easy, while for power tilt models, the stop switch and PT switch are installed on the tiller handle.
