At Whitianga Marine, we stand behind the products we sell. If you have any questions about a return, get in touch with our team in-store or by phone.

Faulty Goods

If you believe an item is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible. The item may need to be assessed by the supplier before a refund or replacement is confirmed. We'll keep you updated throughout the process.

Change of Mind Returns

If you change your mind, unused goods in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days of purchase, with the following exceptions: electronics may only be returned within 7 days of purchase, and any item that was specially ordered or modified to your specifications cannot be returned.

Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 5 days of delivery — either by phone or in-store. Claims made after this period may not be accepted due to carrier limitations.

Refunds

Refunds for change of mind returns will be made via the original payment method and will exclude freight costs. Return shipping is at the customer's expense. We recommend using a tracked courier service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged on their way back to us.

This policy does not affect your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

How to Return an Item

Contact us first and we'll walk you through the process. When returning an item, ensure it is unused, in its original condition, and packed securely — please don't attach anything directly to the product's original packaging. Include your name and contact details with the return so we can process it promptly.

Shipping

Whitianga Marine ships nationwide across New Zealand. Orders are processed and dispatched from our store in Whitianga.

Delivery Times

Standard delivery to non-rural addresses typically takes 2–5 business days. Rural and remote deliveries may take 3–7 business days. Please allow additional time during public holidays and peak periods.

Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with your tracking details so you can follow your delivery through the courier's website.

Damaged or Missing Items

International Shipping

We currently ship within New Zealand only. If you are based overseas and wish to place an order, you are welcome to arrange your own freight forwarder and we will do our best to assist.
